It’s a new year, and you know what that means: It’s a new year!

I thought I’d give you an update on what I’ve been up to and what I will be up to in the near future. So let’s make it snappy:

Shino-kun will hit consoles soon

I know, I’ve been saying it for a while, but shit just kept getting delayed. But things have progressed so far that I can now tell you that Chibi Ninja Shino-kun will be released on all modern consoles sometime this February!

Shino-kun will also return

As you’ve probably seen, I’ve also started development on a sequel a few months ago. Development has slowed down a little in recent weeks (more on that later) but I’ve already gotten a lot of stuff done, and I even got the key art from my artist. Hopefully I can go back to posting regular updates soon, follow me on Bluesky if you wanna check them out!

PogoGirl is almost retro-ready

The Mega Drive port of Go! Go! PogoGirl is almost ready! And the best part? We’re going physical. Hell. Yes. I’ll hopefully have more infos on that soon. Stay tuned!

My translation must go on

Gamedev brings the thrills, but translation pays the bills. Well, most of the time. And as I’ve mentioned previously, I’m currently busy translating games and looking for other games to translate. I wish I could just stick to developing my own games, but with the industry and market going the way they are, I just can’t take that risk anymore.

So now I’m combining my programming knowledge with my translation skills to develop tools to help both translators and gamedevs hiring translators. So far it’s all just internal and too rough to show, but I’ve been hard at work. And yeah, that’s why development on Shino-kun 2 had to take a seat on the backburner for a while. With the new year, I really wanted to push this new project of mine to kick my career in the ass a bit. It sure needs it.
