History

Remember the 80s and early 90s, when a kid could save the world from whatever space, hell or mad scientists could throw at us? Kid Bubblegum takes you back to that time and lets you prevent an alien invasion using your trusty Gumslinger 2000 and a heaping portion of bodacious style.

The Gumslinger is your best weapon to save the world. You can not only use it to capture enemies in bubbles, but also to create your own bouncy little platforms and float down from any height. And since Kid Bubblegum is a true master of Gum-Fu, he can also use gum to stick to walls and make his way up tight shafts...and he looks hella cool while doing it.

As usual with my games, Kid Bubblegum is a loveletter to 90s platformers that have brought me so much joy as a kid. This game was especially inspired by games like Kid Chameleon, DJ Boy, Zombies Ate My Neighbors along with movies like Monster Squad and The Goonies. You know, games and movies about cool kids saving the world while dumb adults are busy with dumb adult stuff, oblivious to what's going on and to what really matters.
